Deutscher Spiele Preis

The Deutcher SpielePreis is the second most important prize awarded to Board games in Germany, after the Spiel of Jahres. The price is decreed by critics (60%) and the readers of the magazine " Pöppel-Revue" (40%). He is proclaimed at the time of the Living room of the play of Essen, in October.

The plays are presented in the decreasing order of the points obtained, of the first to the tenth. A special price, Essener Feder , is decreed for the best rule and since 1992 for the best play being addressed to the children.
