Detection Club
The Detection Club is a club of British authors of detective novels, created in the Années 1920.
At its origins, it included/understood authors such as Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, G.K. Chesterton, Freeman Wills Crofts and Ronald Knox.
These authors found themselves regularly for dinners, and to help on the technical sides of their individual writings. They decided to respect a Code of conduct in their works, in order to give to the readers a right chance to discover which is the assassin.
