Destiny\'s Child

The Destiny's Child is an American group composed of Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams which amalgamates the R' B, the pop one and the drunk.

Biography

The quartet

Destiny's Child, in 1997, are composed of Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett originating in Houston, in the Texas. The quartet takes part in the original soundtrack of Men in Black the same year. With the collaboration of Wyclef Jean resulting from the Fugees, the group leaves their first song " No No no" extract of their first album éponyme. It had a growing success. The second opus, " The Writing' S One The Wall" appears in 1999. It became platinum disc twice.

Replacement of singers

In 2000, following divergences of opinions with their manager, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett are made return group by the manager (and father of Beyonce) Matthew Knowles. They are then replaced by two new singers: Franklin Farah and Michelle Williams. Farah will remain only a few months and free the group for disagreement with management. The group from now on is composed of Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and of Michelle Williams. From this moment their real rise as a group R&B will start

In 2001, the third opus of the collective, " Survivor" arrive in the vats. It contains in particular the pieces " Survivor" , " Bootylicious" and " Independent Women" , this last having remained at the head of American Billboard 11 weeks consecutive!

Benefitting from the success of the third album, the girls started careers solos (Kelly Rowland, Dilemma in duet with the rappor Nelly or Michelle Williams, Heart to Yours). Beyoncé Knowles records its first album, Dangerously in Coils. She also interprets Work it out, extracted the original soundtrack of Austin Powers III in which she plays. Meanwhile, Michelle Williams coils the role of Helped in the musical of Broadway of the same name and fate are second album solo, Do You Know, mixing gospel and drunk person, a republication of the album left a little later.

The return of the trio

In 2004, Destiny's Child return with their new opus " Destiny Fullfilled" who contains the hits " Roofing stone my Breath" and " Soldier". This album approaches more personal topics and the three young women reveal a more vulnerable side of their personality.

In September 2005, Destiny's Child, during the ceremony of World Music Awards, are devoted the female group more the salesman of all times with 50 million discs sold in the world.
