Destineo

Destineo is a Internet site open Pays of the Loire on September 4th, 2006 and at summer inaugurated Destineo at the time of the European week of mobility. It is an European project launched in 2004 by the District council of the Countries of the Loire in order to develop an intermodal system of information with the travellers.

It is used at the same time as platform of information on public transport in Country of the Loire and at the same time of powerful calculator of routes able to establish ways carries to door.

A service of the same kind already exists with the the United Kingdom and in certain French agglomerations. It is about the first calculator at the regional level.

This service of multimode information on transport is controlled by the Area in partnership with the Département of Maine-et-Loire, Nantes metropolis, Angers the Loire metropolis, the Communauté of agglomeration of Choletais, Saumur the Loire development, the Communauté of agglomeration of the area resident of Saint-Nazaire and the estuary, the town of the Roche-sur-Yon and the CCI of Nantes - Aéroport Nantes Atlantique.

Destineo makes it possible to announce the working areas and to propose routes (a), the site integrates the whole of the means of transport available: Tram, drunk, Train, Plane, because S departmental and regional and Navibus.

Objective
