Dessia is a common French, located in the department of the the Jura and the area Franche-Comté.
Geography
Dessia is a small village, which includes/understands a hamlet the Barns of Dessia, located on the canton of Julien Saint on Suran.
History
The village of Dessia to an exclusively agricultural activity. Indeed, to date 5 farms are present, with an aim of producing milk with Montbéliardes cows, for then manufacturing an excellent cheese, the County. For that milk is recovered every night by a special truck, then directed on the cheese-making co-operative of Saint-Julien on Suran.
