Desired-Jules Lesguillier
Desired-Jules Lesguillier born with Lhuys on July 15th, 1825, deceased with Fère-in-Tardenois on September 26th, 1889 was under-secretary of State to Public works in the Gouvernement Leon Gambetta.
It indicated, with the assistance of Théopile Luc Ricour, the station, the dêpot and the general workshops of Valladolid, for the Company of the Railroads of the North of Spain, in 1860.
Civil engineer, former deputy of the Aisne, former under-secretary of State, knight of the Legion of honor, was a former student of the Polytechnic school, which it left with the n° 1. In 1878, it was called at the Management of the state railways.
In 1881, he was elected appointed district of Castle-Thierry, and in 1885 he was re-elected by the department, of Aisne to the list system.
Under the ministry of Gambetta, it was named Secretary of State to Public works. Before entering the public life, it had built several important lines of railroad in Spain. It is at that time that it was named chevalier of the Legion of Honor.
