Deshaies is a commune of the archipelago of Guadeloupe located at the North-West of the Low-Ground. It extends on 3.111 ha.
History
Its name comes from one named Of the Beams which, native of the middle of the 17th century, gave its name to the river and the handle where the borough settled.
