the river Derwent is a Rivière in the Yorkshire in the north of the England. It takes its source with the national park North York Moors, crosses Malton, Yorkshire of North, and Stamford Bridge, East Riding off Yorkshire, form then the border with the town of York, before jetter in the river Ouse, with Long Drax.
The river also gave its name to one of the colleges constitutive of the Université of York: Derwent College .
