Derog Gioura
Derog Gioura (born in 1931? with Ubenide) is politician nauruan, old Ministre and old President of the Republic of Nauru from March 10th, 2003 to May 29th, 2003.
Biography
Is Derog Gioura born in 1931? with Ubenide (Nauru).March 10th, 2003, the President of the Republic Bernard Dowiyogo dies during an surgical operation in the middle with Washington DC (the United States). Derog Gioura is then named President of the Republic until the organized elections the May 3rd but those lead to a dispute of the results between Derog Gioura and Rene Harris. Derog Gioura returns to Nauru after having recovered and becomes Minister for the Woman and the Family at the time of the accession of Rene Harris with the presidency on August 8th, 2003.
June 22nd, 2004, a new vote of distrust reverses Rene Harris with the profit of Ludwig Scotty and Derog Gioura loses its ministerial wallet. It preserves however its seat at the Parliament until October 2004 when this one east dissolves.
