Derick Arm-band

Derick Brassard (born the September 22nd 1987 with Hull city of the Quebec in Canada) is a professional player of Hockey.

Career in club

It begins its career in the Ligue of hockey major junior of Quebec with the Voltigeurs of Drummondville in 2003. He plays ten matches then and makes really his beginnings in the LHJMQ at the time of the following season. At the conclusion of this season, it receives the Trophée Michel Bergeron of best the offensive recruit of the LHJMQ. He is also elected better recruit all stations confused and gains the Coupe RDS.

Before the beginning of the following season, it is selected at the time of the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey by the Blue Jackets de Columbus during the first round (6th choice). It continues to progress in the LHJMQ and gains at the end of the season the Trophée Michael Bossy as a better hope of the league.

He plays only one about fifteen matches during the season 2006-07 then joined the Crunch of Syracuse of the American Ligue of hockey for the season 2007-08.
