Departmental museum Georges-of-The-Turn
The departmental museum Georges-of-The-Turn , created in 1996, is located at Vic-on-Pail, birthplace of the painter Georges of the Tower, located in the department of the the Moselle.
Collections
The museum has a rich person funds of tables of the 17th century until the beginning of the 20th century, which accurately summarizes the heritage of the Tower and its clearly-obscure.The major work of the museum is the Saint Jean-Baptiste in the desert discovered in 1993 and around whose all the collections are organized.
The basement of the museum shelters archaeological collections recalling the history this city which was also the castle of the bishops of Metz
