Department of Vélingara

The department of Vélingara is one of the three departments of the area of Kolda (Senegal).

Administration

Its chief town is the town of Vélingara.

At the time of the census of December 2002, the population was of 189.742 inhabitants. In 2005, it was estimated at 206.547 people.
