Department of Itatí
Itatí is a department of the province of Corrientes, in the North-East of Argentina, which occupies 890 km ² in the northern area of the province.
It close in the west with the department to San Cosme, in the south with that of San Luis del Palmar, in the east that of Berón de Astrada and in north with the republic of the Paraguay, from which he is separated by the Río Paraná.
The chief town is the town of Itatí. According to the census of 2001, it had 8.774 inhabitants.
