Department of Caaguazú

The department of Caaguazú (in Spanish: be Departamento de Caaguazú ) is one of the 17 departments of the Paraguay. Its code ISO 3166-2 is PY-5.

Geography

The department is bordering:
  • in the North-East, of the department of Canindeyú;
  • in the east, of the department of the Viola Paraná;
  • in the south, of the departments of Caazapá and Guairá;
  • in south-west, of the department of Paraguarí;
  • in the west, of the department of the Cordillera;
  • in the North-West, of the department of San Pedro.
