Dionysius Thrax , Denys the grammairien , (Διονύσιος ὁ Θρᾷξ) lived of -170 with -90. Originating in Thrace, it was born with Alexandria and was the disciple of Aristarque. He taught the humanities with Rome time of Pompée. One owes him a Greek , a long time traditional Grammaire, which was published by Fabricius in volume VII of its Greek Bibliothèque , and by Bekker, Anecdota graeca , T. II, Berlin, 1816. There is a translation in Armenian Langue, published by Cirbied.
