Denominator

1 - In a Fraction, the denominator is the number in lower part of the bar of fraction. The number with the top is called the Numérateur.

For example, in the fraction \ frac {56} {8} , the numerator is 56 and the denominator is 8 .

This number which indicates into how much equal parts the unit was divided. Second term of a fraction. If the denominator is identical to the Numérateur then the fraction to 1 \ frac {8} {8 is equal} = {1} .
