Denise Grey , born Jeanne Verthuy the September 17th 1896 with Turin (Italy), deceased the January 13rd 1996 with Paris (France), is a French actress.

She begins with the cinema in 1915 in silent film In family , adaptation of the novel of Hector Malot, before devoting herself to the theater. She returns to the cinema, speaking this time, in the Années 1930. She is success in the Années 1940 with films like Mr Hector (1940), Boléro (1942) or the Devil with the body (1946). The age does not put fine at its career. Thus, in 1972, it appears in the televised series the cursed Kings . The film It Bang , where she plays “Poupette”, the back grandmother of Sophie Marceau, makes known it with the generations of the Années 1980.
