Denise Di Novi

Denise Di Novi is a producing Canadian born in 1956.

Biography

His/her father Gene Di Novi was a musician of Jazz which made rounds with Lena Home and Peggy Lee.
At the 3 years age, his/her parents, Gene and Patricia, moves with Los Angeles. His/her father composes of the musics for the televised spectacles of Danny Thomas, Dick Van Dyke and Andy Griffith. On this occasion, she discovers the entertainment world. The very young Denise thus binds friendship with the realizer Rob Reiner and the actress Dinah Shore.
At the beginning of the Years 1970, the family moves with Toronto (Canada). At the 19 years age, his/her mother dies of a Cancer.
Denise obtains a diploma of Journaliste. She makes reports for the local television of Toronto.
In 1980, it resigns to work on the turning of the film Final Assignment turned in Toronto with the actress Genevieve Bujold. She continues her collaboration with the producer of the film Pierre David during 4 years.
In 1989, it produces its first film, Fatal Ranges ( Heathers ) in which play in particular Winona Ryder, Christian Slater and Shannen Doherty.
It meets then the realizer Tim Burton. It will produce several of its successes.
