Denis Joseph Savard (February 4th, 1961 with Point Gatineau, Quebec, Canada) is a former player of Hockey of the National league of hockey of 1980 with 1997.

Denis Savard is fished out with the Repêchage of entry in the LNH 1980 into 1 round, 3rd on the whole by the Blackhawks of Chicago. He was separated from Blackhawks to play for the Canadian of Montreal (1990-91 to 1993-94) where he gained the Coupe Stanley and the Lightning de Tampa Bay (1993-94 to 1994-95) before making a return with Blackhawks.

In 1.196 parts in the LNH, Savard marked 473 goals and collected 865 assistances, for 1.338 points. Denis Savard takes his retirement officially the June 26th 1997 and the March 19th 1998 the organization of Blackhawks of Chicago withdraws its number 18. It now forms part of the Temple of re-elected hockey since the November 13rd 2000. Denis Savard has a cousin, Jean Savard which also played in LNH.
