Denis Gauthier
Denis Gauthier (born on October 1st 1976 with Montreal with the Quebec, Canada) is a player of professional Hockey of the National league of hockey evolving/moving with the Flyers of Philadelphia. He plays position of defender.
Career in the LNH
Gauthier was fished out by the Flames of Calgary at the time of the Repêchage of entry in the LNH 1995, with the 20th position. Recognized especially for these percussion settings in failure, it made its beginnings in the LNH in 1997 and quickly became a key player because of his physical play to the blue line.At the time of the eliminatory series 2004, whereas the Flames went until the finales of the Coupe Stanley, Gauthier disputed only the matches first round, having undergone a wound with the Genou at the time of the 6th part against the Canucks of Vancouver.
During the summer 2004, it was exchanged with the Coyotes of Phoenix in a transaction which also implied Daymond Langkow and Oleg Saprykin.
In 2006, Gauthier was compromised in Flyers of Philadelphia in an exchange also implying Josh Gratton and two choices of second round to the fishing out 2006.
