Denham Harman
Denham Harman (February 14th, 1916 -), is a Chimiste, Biologiste and Médecin gerontologist, Professor emeritus with the Université of Nebraska.
Dr. Harman is universally known like the father of the theory of the Vieillissement by the oxydative Stress. According to this assumption, the ageing of the living organisms would be largely due to the damage caused by the free Radicaux and the reactive derivatives of the Oxygène. In 1995, it was nominated for the Nobel Prize of Médecine.
