Deng Zhi

Imperial secretary of the Shu. It met Liu EIB after this last seized the province of Yi and impressed it as of their first conversation. It was thus named Grand Administrator of Guanghan and, gaining the reputation of incorruptible and severe, was then destined for Chengdu to become Secrétaire of the Agricultural Taxes.

After the death of Liu EIB, it was sent by Zhuge Liang as ambassador of Shu in the Royaume of Wu in order to establish an alliance between the two kingdoms. Consequently, it met Sun Quan and thanks to its astute rhetoric, managed to achieve its mission.

A few years later, when Zhuge Liang planned its first military countryside against the Wei, Deng Zhi was named Central Military Inspecteur and went voluntary to assist Zhao Yun in its ordering of the avant-garde. Together, they succeeded in demolishing the enemy forces directed by Xiahou Mao. After the death of Zhuge Liang, Deng Zhi was military adviser and in load of the town of Jiangzhou. In year 243, it accepted the title of General of the Tanks and the Cavalry and died in year 251.
