Deng Have
Deng Have is a Chinese general of the Royaume of Wei at the time of the time of the Three Kingdoms in ancient China. Carrying the title of “General who conquered the West”, it contributes to annex the Royaume of Shu.
Biography
Because of a problem of stammering, Deng Have was initially assigned at a simple post of guard of field. However, when Sima Yi meets it, he saw the potential of Deng Have and promotes it with the rank of officer of the imperial Secretariat. Consequently, it gains merit by writing the “Theory of the Ji river” where it proposes a project of system of irrigation maximizing the output of the cultivable fields. Its project is accepted and the deposits of food in the area of the Huai river were sufficient for the years which followed.
Following this success, it is promoted governor of Nanan and in year 249, it contributes to push back an invasion of Jiang Wei by advising Guo Huai. It deserves consequently the titles of duke of the imperial field and governor of Chengyang. A little later it becomes imperial Protecteur province of Yan and during the rebellion of Guanqiu Jian, arrives, by its initiative, to push back an invasion of the Wu carried out by Sun Jun. It then comes to help Chen Tai to push back the third military countryside of Jiang Wei against Wei by breaking the head office of Didao and in year 256, the fourth invasion of Jiang Wei pushes back by carrying out a ambush which constrained Jiang Wei to be fled once more towards Hanzhong. Following these successes, Deng Have receives the title of duke of Deng and in the years which follow, contributes to push back the five other invasions carried out by Jiang Wei.
In year 263, Sima Zhao decides to invade Shu and sends Deng Have and Zhong Hui to carry out the invasion. Deng Have then receives the title of “General who conquered the West” and jointly directs his troops with Zhong Hui towards Hanzhong where it fights Jiang Wei and manages to take the city. However, after this success, the tension appears between Deng Have and Zhong Hui and the two men enter in competition to conquer Chengdu. Deng Have carries out its army through the dangerous mountains of Yinping and manages with splendor to reach the town of Jiangyou where it receives the tender of My Miao. A little later it goes to Mianzhu and beats Zhuge Zhan, for finally going to the doors of Chengdu where it receives the tender of Liu Shan and can thus achieve the destruction of the kingdom of Shu. However, it is suspected of rebelling and is captured and sent to Luoyang. It is then made kill on the way by Tian Xu.
