Jack Dempsey , born the June 24th 1895 with Manassa (Colorado) and deceased the May 31st 1983, is a American boxer . First large star of modern boxing, called the “killer of Manassa”, he was world champion of weight-heavy between the July 4th 1919 (victory vis-a-vis Jess Willard) and 1926. He loses his title in front of 120.557 spectators vis-a-vis Gene Tunney.
