A demonstration of contemporary art, or fair of contemporary art, is a gathering being of mainly two interests:

• to offer an international window to still alive artists;
• in the case of a fair, the sale of works.

• Documented, Cassel, which is held every 5 years (next edition: summer 2007) for 3 months. Site

• Frieze Art Fair with London. Annual, founded in 2003. Edition 2005: from October 21st to 24th with Regent' S Park. In October 2005, 160 exhibitors, 47.000 visitors. Site
