Demography of the North Korea
The Korean population is very homogeneous, in North as in the South of the peninsula currently divided into two States. At the time of the end of the Japanese domination in 1945, the Korean peninsula had 30 million inhabitants, 9 million in North Korea, 21 million in the South.
