The Arab countries (the Maghreb and the Middle East) are for the majority in progress or in demographic final stage of Transition.

Contrary to certain generally accepted ideas, the use of the techniques of Contraception was largely widespread in these countries, whose Birth rate almost lowered all as a whole.
