Democratic face for the release of Palestine

The democratic Face for the release of Palestine (Arab: “الجبهةالديموقراطيةلتحريرفلسطين” Al-Jabha Al-Dimuqratiya Li-Tahrir Filastin) is a political movement and military Palestinian Marxist-Leninist. The organization is often indicated under the name of democratic Front , Al-Jabha Al-Dimuqratiyah (الجبهةالديموقراطية).

History

Formation of the FDLP

In 1969, a scission intervenes inside the Liberation popular front of Palestine, a Palestinian movement of Extreme-left. The Popular Democratic Front of Release of Palestine (FDPLP) is created. The FDPLP was directed by the general secretary of tendency Maoist, Nayef Hawatmeh, old of the Arab Nationalist movement. Nayef Hawatmeh found that the PFLP carried out by Georges Habache dealt much too much with the military businesses, by forsaking the political field and ideological.

The FDLP quickly gains the reputation of the Palestinian organization most intellectual, to explain the situation of the the Middle East, the movement largely used the ideology Marxist-Leninist.

The ideology and beginnings of the movement

Officially, the goal of the FDLP is the creation of a democratic Palestinian State, where Arab and Juifs would live together in peace, in a State without Social classes, without oppression, a State which would allow the Jews and the Arabs the development of their national culture.
