The Deltaproteobacteria are one of the five groups of Proteobacteria.
It includes/understands:
- the Bdellovibrionales - for example the Bdellovibrio
- the Desulfobacterales
- the Desulfovibrionales
- the Desulfurellales
- the Desulfuromonadales - for example Geobacter
- the Myxococcales - Myxobactéries
- the Syntrophobacterales
