Delta of Gange
the delta of Gange is the largest delta of the world with 105.000 km ². It is in India and extends until the Bangladesh.
The delta results from the following rivers: Gange and Brahmaputra
The zone of the Delta very fertile, one is in particular produced there Jute, The, and Riz. More than 143 million people live there in spite of the risks of Inondation S and Cyclone S.
The reserve of Sunderbans
This reserve, classified by UNESCO “World heritage of humanity” in 1985, covers approximately 2.600 km ² Mangrove S represented by several species of which some are rare.
It includes/understands a great number of islands of which about thirty inhabited by populations fishermen and bee-keepers. The fauna and the flora of the reserve are of a remarkable richness: the Bengal tiger, animal very difficult to observe which would count here approximately 200 representatives and the Dauphin of Gange, in the long narrow nozzle, which one fears disappearance, appear among the remarkable animals of the delta.
