Delroy Wilson

Delroy Wilson , born the October 5th in Kingston E Jamaica 1948 and deceased the March 6th 1995 of a cirrhosis of the liver, was a singer jamaïcain of Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae.

It is a young singer extrément gifted. He begins his career in 1962 for Coxsone Dodd (under the supervision of Lee scratch Perry). Delroy Wilson is the first child star of Jamaica and he knows a fulgurating beginning of career which he will continura has to maintain throughout the Sixties to 90, he was began again by many artist (Al capone, Big Youth, Hippy Boys.). Malheuresement in 1995 it falls seriously sick and dies out on March 6th, ¨Pleurent one as of their, the Jamaican music pays an ultimate homage to the Arena national to him.

In 1972, Michael Manley and its party the PNP chose its song Better Must Like like anthem of countryside.
