Biography
Born with San Francisco two years before the earthquake from 1906, Delmer Daves was intended initially for a lawyer career. During its studies with the Stanford University it was interested in budding industry of film, and began as accessories supplier on the Western The Covered Wagon in 1923 then became technical adviser on many films. After the end of its studies of right, it continued its career with Hollywood.Settling in Hollywood in 1928, it starts as scenario writer, credited first once for the comedy So This Is College produces by MGM. In the Years 1930, it was made a name of author with success, while appearing as actor in not credited small roles. He wrote the musical comedies of Dick Powell Dames , Flirtation Walk , and Page Miss Glory between 1934 and 1935.
