Deliver of Habacuc

The delivers of Habacuc is a book of the Old Testament.

Habacuc is a prophet of Juda which spoke about the sinning state of the people, perhaps during the reign of Jojakin (approx. 600 av. J. - C.).

Summary

Chapter 1 is a discussion between the Lord and his prophet, like the discussion of Jérémie 12. Habacuc was disturbed to see the malicious ones apparently thriving. In chapter 2, the Lord recommends to him to be patient: the right ones must learn how to live in accordance with the faith. Chapters 3 contains the prayer of Habacuc in which he recognizes the justice of God.
