Delbrück
Delbrück is a city of Germany, located at the east of the Land of Rhineland-of-North-Westphalia in the district of Paderborn.
Delbrück has limits - starting in the west in the direction of the needles of a watch - with Rietberg and Verl (district of Gütersloh), Hövelhof, Paderborn and Salzkotten (district of Paderborn), and Lippstadt (district of Soest).
According to the principal statutes ( Hauptsatzung ) of the city, Delbrück is composed of ten quartiers : Anreppen, Bentfeld, Boke, Delbrück, Hagen (it is Nordhagen and Sudhagen), Lippling, Ostenland, Schöning, Steinhorst and Westenholz.
The town of Delbrück was creates on January 1st, 1975 by law of November 5th, 1974 by amalgamating the communes of the old canton of Delbrück (the town of Delbrück, Hagen, Ostenland, Westenholz and Westerloh) and three communes of the old canton of Salzkotten-Boke (Anreppen, Bentfeld and Boke). Since the formation of the new town of Delbrück, each of the old communes one of the districts forms, but the old commune of Westerloh was divided in the three districts of Lippling, Schöning and Steinhorst.
