Delaney Rudd
Delaney Rudd , born the November 8th 1962 with Halifax in North Carolina, is a former player of American Basket-ball , evolving/moving at the post of leader.
After a beginning of career in CBA, he plays two seasons in Greece for the PAOK Salonique, of which the first only for the European competitions. He joined then the NBA at the Milwaukee Bucks then at the Utah Jazz. After three seasons passed in Utah, it joined, after some measuring rods, ASVEL Villeurbanne.
It takes again number 4 of legendary the Alain Gilles which had been before withdrawn and becomes the key man of a team which occupies the top of the French tennis shoe and correctly defends her chances on the European level, with several participations in the quarterfinal of the Euroligue and a participation in Final Furnace 1997 of Rome, beaten in half finale by FC Barcelona.
But, in spite of three finales of championship of France, it does not manage to conquer a title awaited since 1981. It leaves the club in 1999 to sign with the Ülker Istanbul (Turkey) where it will not finally play.
