The house of cognac Delamain and Co , with Jarnac, is one of oldest.
The wine storehouses with distilling are rebuilt at, partly on arched cellars of the 14th century and partly on the site of the old Protestant temple, which is used as brandy store during the Révolution. The office is built in 1740 (date carried) for a notary. The owners are, of 1763 with 1817, Ranson and Delamain, and, starting from 1824, Paul Roullet and Henri Delamain.
In 1920, the Delamain family becomes sole owner of the Cognacs Delamain .
Stock consists of its own products of distillation and by the purchase of old women eaux-de-vie.
Re-elected Delamain & Co in 1956, it is specialized in the assemblies of very old cognacs of Large and Small Champagne: fine champagne.
Manpower in 1987 is of 17 people. The Delamain house markets products of high-quality: Large Champagne Blade & Dry, Vesper Fine champagne and a very old Champagne cognac Large.
