Deity
This term indicates quality to be a god or a goddess (a deity), or God (Déité). It is then synonymous with divinity as a Substantif.
In Buddhism, and also in Hindouisme, the current trend is to hold this term with the méditationnelles deities (Yidam S) as a deliberated Anthropomorphisme S, symbolizing the paramount nature of the universe, called Nature of Buddha, or Brahman in hindouism. Buddha Shākyamuni, others Buddha S, such as the paramount, some Bodhisattva S, large Buddhas Realized (Mahāsiddha S), or its clean Guru can receive a kind of devotion under the terms of a " existence; objective" , but still here the not-dualistic sight of the Mahāyāna recalls us that we share all this same ultimate nature. The same remark still applies to the Advaita Vedanta Hindu. It is not thus still about Gods, called in this context, society men or commun runs.
