Deioclès
Deioclès was the first King Mèdes, Ethnicity of the area which will become the Iran. It unified six tribes mèdes (Tubes, Parétacéniens, Struchates, Arizantes, Budiens and Magi) and became them Juge and directing, starting from -701. After seven years of reign it was withdrawn and Mèdes elected it king until in -665. Deioclès built a palate in the capital, Ecbatane, now known like Hamadan. The history of its accession to the capacity is described in book I of the Investigation of Hérodote.
