Defqon 1

The Defqon 1 or Defqon-Festival 1 is a Festival of Electronic music organized each year since 2003 by Q-Dance with the Netherlands.

This festival proceeds on a beach of Almere between 11:00 and 23:00. It puts in scene of the DJ like Zany, Deepack, The Prophet, Showtek, Darkraver, Zatox, Technoboy, DJ Isaac, Scot Project, Promo, Yoji Biomehanika. Many light effects are used.

Characteristics

The characteristic of the festival consists in placing DJs at different place simultaneously, distributed by type of music, identified by a color.

The Defqon-Festival is also characterized by its extra: in 2006, a man was catapulted with more 100m top. In 2007 a man appeared with a Jetpack.
