Defacor

A defacor is a person carrying out of the Défacements, it is an Anglicism nominating any person practitioner the hacking of Web sites by modifying their pages. Several types of défaceurs are dissociated:

the hacktivists, which appoint the défaceurs attacking the banner pages of the Web sites in order to leave a political message there, so that this one is seen by a maximum of people.
the Script-kiddies, which by definition have very little technical training and are satisfied to launch a simple script or exploit in order to pirate a maximum of sites. The Script-kiddies do that to praise itself near their friends and by competition.
the blackhats pirate only very few sites, but do it with an aim of hurting. They generally begin of them with their enemies the whitehats in order to discredit them (the most important example being Fluffy-bunny). They are, in opposition to the Script-kiddies, very gifted in data processing.
