Deee-Lite was a formed group with New York. Their hit most known is Groove Is In the Heart of 1990 featuring Q-Tip (of Tribe Called Quest has) and Bootsy Collins.

The members of the group were:

• " Lady Miss Kier " (Kierin Kirby, of Youngstown in the State of Ohio)
• " Jungle DJ Towa Tei " (Doug Wa-Chung, of the Tokyo)

The first album for the group is, world clicks of the 1990, and the second album is, infinity within of the 1992. For its third album, dewdrops in the garden of the 1994, Towa Tei left the group. It appears only in one song. Towa Tei was replaced by DJ One-E .
