Dedo III

Dedo III († 1069), known also under the name of Dedi III , called the Young person (in Latin iunior ), of the House of Wettin, was Low-Lusace Margrave of .

Dedo III was the oldest son of Dedo II, the margrave of the Marche of the East saxonne, and Oda, the girl of Thietmar and the sister of Eudes II.

In 1069, against the will of his/her father who had rebelled against the king, Dedo III received Low-Lusace hands of Henri IV. Dedo III was assassinated the same year, perhaps on the order of his/her mother (according to the Chroniqueur Lambert of Hersfeld). After his death, the king and Dedo II were reconciled and Dedo II recovered the Lowone.

Dedo III was unmarried and of child did not have. He was buried with Misnie.
