Decree on enforcement of a law
In France, the majority of the Loi S adopted by the legislator, promulgated by the President of the Republic and published in the Official journal comprise provisions returning to decrees which specify the modes of enforcement of them.
The following sentence is then mentioned at the end of the article concerned of the law: " the modes of enforcement of this article will be specified by a decree as a Council of État"
Decree on enforcement of a law is thus the usual term to describe this type of statutory text.
However, it happens that a law or a legislative measure is never implemented for lack of decree on enforcement of a law.
However, a law can not require a decree on enforcement of a law.
