Declaration of independence of Ireland
The Déclaration of independence of the Ireland is adopted on January 21st, 1919 by the National Assembly of the Irish Republic ( Dáil Éireann ), at its first meeting held with Dublin. The text of the declaration is adopted in Irish, English and French.
The proclaimed republic, which was to extend to all the island, was recognized only by the Soviet Union, in spite of diplomatic efforts in France and with the the United States.
