Deborah Grey

Deborah Cleland Grey (born on July 1st 1952) is a Canadian , old political personality Député E of the district innate Alberta of Edmonton North, initially under the banner of the Parti reformist Canada, then under the Canadian Alliance (it briefly left the caucus alliancist to form the representative democratic Caucus, before reinstating the caucus alliancist) and finally under the banner of the Conservative party of Canada.

Biography

Born with Vancouver, it made its studies in sociology, English and education with the Biblical Institut Burrard Inlet, with the Collège Trinity Western and the Université of Alberta. She then worked like teaching in several rural communities Alberta innate until 1989, when she gained a by-election, becoming the first deputy reformist with the House of Commons of Canada.

She remained only representative elected Parti reformist Canada, until the federal election of 1993, at the time which the party made elect 52 deputies with the House of Commons. According to this election, it occupied the station of Pulpit of the caucus and parliamentary Chef associated until March 2000, date on which the Parti reformist was included in the Canadian Alliance. When Preston Manning resigned its station of Chef of the Opposition in order to make countryside in the race with the cheffery of the Canadian Alliance, Grey was indicated interim chief of Alliance like Chef of the Opposition, the first woman to occupy this station. She remained in station until Stockwell Day, elected chief of Alliance, is made elect with the common in September of this same year. After which it again occupied the stations of Pulpit of the caucus and associated parliamentary Chef.

Grey resigned of these stations the April 24th 2001 as a protest against the leadership of Stockwell Day. In July of this year, Grey and 11 other deputies alliancists, whose Chuck Strahl, left the caucus Alliance to sit under the name of the representative democratic Caucus. In September 2001, CDR formed a coalition with the Parti progressist-conservative Canada, and Grey occupied the station of pulpit of Caucus PC-CDR.

In April 2002, according to the election of Stephen To grip with the direction of Alliance, Grey joined the caucus alliancist, and in December 2003, Alliance and Party PC ratified an agreement to amalgamate the two parties in the Conservative party of Canada.

Grey is the wife of Lewis Larson; they married the August 7th 1993.

Grey did not represent with the federal election of 2004.
