Debora Andollo

Débora Andollo (born the May 9th 1967, with Havana) is sporting cuban specialized in Natation and instructeure in deep-sea diving. It measures 1,63 Mr.

Thanks to its exceptional pulmonary capacity (6 liters), it was the only woman in the world able to go down to more than 74 meters in free apnea, in July 2001.

Cuban Débora Andollo established 16 world records in the four methods of immersion in apnea. It even established world records valid for the two sexes for the immersion in apnea.

Débora Andollo began its sporting career in the cuban national selection of synchronized Nage, of which it was member during twelve years, until 1991. It is precisely in 1991 qu' it makes its first immersion in free apnea and goes down to 30 meters. The following year, it beats the world records which the Italian Roxana Mallorca held then.

Débora Andollo, married and mother of a child, currently reside with Havana and it chairs the cuban Federation of the Watery Sports.
