deaths have all the same skin is a Romance written in 1947 by Boris Vian under the Pseudonyme of Vernon Sullivan.

This novel tells the history of daN, a half-caste (a black with white skin) having succeeded in being made a place in the company of the white without those not knowing anything of its origins. Its life was perfect until the day when a man saying to be his brother comes to claim money to him by threatening it to tell with people his true origins. Threatened, daN will assassinate “his/her brother”, going to the front of serious troubles and other crimes.
