Death with the cases ( North By Northwest ) is a American film carried out by Alfred Hitchcock and left in 1959.

Synopsis

Roger Thornhill, publicity agent of his state, is by error taken for the secret agent George Kaplan. He finds himself taken with the trap between an organization not very clear which seeks to remove it and organizes it which continues it… He flees through the United States on the traces of this Kaplan and will go from surprised in surprises.

  • the house of Vandamm which one sees at the end of film is a house of Frank Lloyd Wright.
  • the final sequence, with its statues carved in the mountain, is supposed to be held with the Mont Rushmore, in the South Dakota. In fact the major part was turned in studio and the details of the statues were reconstituted.
  • the final scene in which the two heroes find themselves in the train and consume their love is one of most famous cinema, thanks to the ultimate plan of film symbolizing the sex act: when the train penetrates in a long tunnel at any speed.
