Death in Vegas is a British group, consisted of Richard Fearless and Tim Holmes.
Biography
The style of the group is Pop crossbred rock'n'roll of Techno, of Dub, psychedelic Musique and industrial Musique. The group, named Dead Elvis in an original manner was formed in 1994, and was made of Fearless and Steve Helier. Objections of the owners of the rights of Elvis Presley forced the group has to change name. Dead Elvis was used for the name of their first album. After the exit of this album, Helier left the group, and was replaced by Holmes.The titles of Death in Vegas were used in various contexts: the title Dirge was used in a publicity for the Levi's jeans, and in the film the Project Blair Witch 2 and also in the film the Black Dahlia . The title Hands Around My Throat was used in 2004 in a publicity for Sony Ericsson and in The Animatrix . Another title, Girls , were used in the band of the film Lost in Translation . Also, " All that Glitters" been used as credits for the chronicle of Jamel , the cinema of Jamel .
Death in Vegas signed on the label Concrete Records in 1994, but is separate 10 years later after the exit of their third album, Scorpio Rising . Fearless and Holmes decided to create their own label, Drone Records. The duet was to produce the sixth album of the group of pop Oasis, but of other obligations prevented some. Their fourth album is revolving artistic major, with a return towards electronic influences.
