Death-alive
In the legends and works Fantastic S (in particular novels and films of horror, as well as the roleplays), the death-alive are animated Cadavre S, in general by magic.
One can also count those which are not corpses, like the spirits.
Death-alive monsters
One distinguishes:
- the Goule S, which eat the corpses (thanatophages);
- the liche S: wizards who are maintained in life by their own capacities;
- the Mummy S: deaths embaumés (in general surrounded by strips to the image of the Egyptian mummies ) which become animated to punish the profaners of their tomb;
- the skeleton S
- the Vampire S, which nourissent blood of their victims and can be transformed into bat, but fear the sunlight;
- the Zombi S: deaths which become animated by a magic ritual Vaudou.
- Phantom S: spirits of deaths.
- the Âme pains of it: corresponds to the wight , legend of the Anglo-Saxon Monde.
- the Spectrum S: often this word is synonymous with phantom but sometimes, especially in the plays, the spectra are other thing.
- the Inferi in Harry Potter.
- the jiangshi are kinds of zombis Chinese hero of the fantastic literature of the Dynastie Qing and Cinéma hongkongais.
