Death-alive

In the legends and works Fantastic S (in particular novels and films of horror, as well as the roleplays), the death-alive are animated Cadavre S, in general by magic.

One can also count those which are not corpses, like the spirits.

Death-alive monsters

One distinguishes:

the Goule S, which eat the corpses (thanatophages);
the liche S: wizards who are maintained in life by their own capacities;
the Mummy S: deaths embaumés (in general surrounded by strips to the image of the Egyptian mummies ) which become animated to punish the profaners of their tomb;
the skeleton S
the Vampire S, which nourissent blood of their victims and can be transformed into bat, but fear the sunlight;
the Zombi S: deaths which become animated by a magic ritual Vaudou.
Phantom S: spirits of deaths.
the Âme pains of it: corresponds to the wight , legend of the Anglo-Saxon Monde.
the Spectrum S: often this word is synonymous with phantom but sometimes, especially in the plays, the spectra are other thing.
the Inferi in Harry Potter.
the jiangshi are kinds of zombis Chinese hero of the fantastic literature of the Dynastie Qing and Cinéma hongkongais.
